Education and informing

Informing and education are very important aspects in the work of the civil society, and the development of internet and new technologies enables significant progress on this field also. Potential for social engagement in the informing of the public has risen to a new level with the strengthening of new media and new communication tools. At the same time, aquiring new knowledge, experience and information has been developed to a level where knowledge and ecucation are available to almost everyone and are shareable easily to long distances. POINT conference will focus on experiences in using new media for informing the public, on projects for extracting relevant journalist content, using social media on behalf of mainstream media, as well as social engagement of internet media.
