Citizens in the parliamentary benches through online platform

How can citizens influence the legislative process through an online platform, is a  Panel theme at this year’s POINT conference that will be held on Friday 27th of May at 11:00

Through 45 minutes of the panel discussions, the conference participants will be introduced to javnarasprava.ba a web platform that allows direct participation of citizens in decision-making processes in BiH, which was launched last year.  Damir Dajanović from CA “Why not” will talk  about this platform while Smári McCarthy will be presenting the Icelandic platform Shadow Parliament.

Smári McCarthy, is a chief technologist at  the project “Reporting on organized crime and corruption” he is the chairman of the European Pirate Party and member of the Board of the International Institute of Modern Media.
