Ahmad Primo

Ahmad Primo is a Syrian journalist based in Norway and the founder of Verify-sy, a fact-checking platform that combats misinformation in the MENA region.

With over 16 years of experience in journalism, he has covered all stages of the conflict in Syria and broader developments across the Middle East. His work focuses on media literacy, digital verification, and the role of journalism in conflict and post-conflict contexts. Ahmad is also a co-author of the 2022 book “Verification in Conflict Zones”, which explores practical methodologies for fact-checking in challenging environments.
