Aida Spahic lives and works in Sarajevo. She is professionally engaged in vocal and written translation and leads micro-business. She’s an activist that fights for women’s rights, LGBT rights and equality in general. She is a senior research assistant at the Cultural Studies of the University of Zenica, member and associate of numerous non-governmental organizations and one of the founding member of an informal group of feminist anti-militarist activist collective – FAK. She completed Gender Studies in CIPS, and is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo.
She is a feminist, antimilitarist and activist.
