Emma Quaedvlieg

Emma Quaedvlieg is a Policy Manager at the European Partnership for Democracy (EPD), focusing on media freedom, disinformation, and enlargement. She previously worked as Programme Coordinator of the Western Balkans team at the European Endowment for Democracy in Brussels (’20-’24) and as International Advisor to the Mayor of Šabac in Serbia (’19-’20).

Other experience includes stints at the IOM in the Netherlands, the Council of Europe office in Geneva, and the Belgrade Centre for Human Rights. She holds a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies/University of Sussex and a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Nottingham. She speaks Dutch, English, Serbian, and French.
