Filip Stojanovski serves as Director for Partnership and Resource Development at Metamorphosis Foundation from Skopje, North Macedonia. He has been working on anti-disinformation projects starting with founding of the fact-checking service Truthmeter.mk in 2011, including the USAID Media Fact-Checking Service (2012-17), and EU-supported Critical Thinking for Mediawise Citizens – Crithink (2018-21). He is currently working on the regional project Western Balkans Anti-Disinformation Hub supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
He holds a BSc Degree in Computer Science from Graceland University (USA) and Masters in e-business management from Université Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne (France).
Since 1995 he has been active in the Macedonian civil society through volunteer projects in the area of consumer protection and e-publishing, and after 2002 as an IT expert, researcher and member of pro-democracy initiatives and movements. He is a contributor to domestic and international media.
