Jelena Vasić

Jelena Vasic is a project manager and one of the founders of Serbian investigative portal KRIK. During the past ten years, she has been responsible for managing and coordinating all journalism projects for KRIK and for its fact-checking portal RasKRIKavanje.

In the previous years she has also worked as investigative reporter with the international network Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP). From 2012 to 2015 she was a member of the journalistic team of the Center for Investigative Reporting in Serbia (CINS). She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, at the Journalism Department.

As part of the KRIK investigative team she won the global Data Journalism Award in 2017. Jelena has also won the Serbian national IJAS annual award for investigative journalism in 2013.
