Kristen Robinson

As Communications and Advocacy Manager at the Web Foundation, Kristen drives campaigns on the Foundation’s open data, gender and digital rights work. She leads the Foundation’s work on OpenOwnership, and has led the advocacy and communications around the Foundation’s inaugural Women’s Rights Online report and the Open Data Barometer.

Prior to joining the Web Foundation, she worked at Portland Communications where she advised the Mo Ibrahim Foundation, the Africa Progress Panel and BCG’s Centre for Public Impact, among others. She also acted as an advisor to a number of governments on creating or reforming their central communications, media and public information agencies with an emphasis on digital diplomacy and public affairs.
