Michal Škop

Michal Škop is a co-founder and CEO and head of development of KohoVolit.eu, a Czech and Slovak IT-NGO oriented on showing what is happening among the elected representatives and how the public money are spent.

Michal studied Mathematics and has a PhD from Demography from Charles University in Prague, now finishing his PhD in Political Science at University of Hradec Kralove.

KohoVolit.eu is the author and co-author of popular voting advice applications in the Czech Republic (volebnikalkulacka.cz), Slovakia (volebnakalkulacka.sk), Bosnia and Hercegovina (glasometar.ba) and Hungary (voksmonitor.hu), providing several millions of users with better electoral information.

Michal is also author of the first Czech “clickable budget” – visualization of the governmental budget.
