Nikola Burazer is the Programme Director at the Belgrade-based think tank Centre for Contemporary Politics and the Executive Editor of European Western Balkans, a media portal dedicated to reporting on EU enlargement in the region. He holds a Master’s degree in Nationalism Studies from the Central European University (CEU) in Budapest and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Belgrade.
Burazer has authored numerous studies and articles on democracy, media freedom, EU enlargement, and international relations. He served as Serbia analyst for Freedom House (2021–2025) and contributor to Oxford Analytica. He was also the co-producer and co-writer of two documentary films exploring EU integration and democracy in Serbia and the Western Balkans: Long Road to Europe (2021) and The Time of Stabilitocracy (2022).
