Nino Macharashvili

Nino Macharashvili is a co-founder and director at ForSet, a data-driven communications organization based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Before this, she worked as a data journalist and projects coordinator at JumpStart Georgia for almost five years. She holds a BA in Journalism and an MA in Creative and Media Enterprises. With a passion for connecting data enthusiasts from various professional backgrounds and sectors, she founded DataFest Tbilisi in 2017, the first annual international data conference in the South Caucasus. Nino has a keen interest in election reporting using data and technology, she has co-authored several tech tools and also conducted a study in Georgia about using personal data in elections as part of her fellowship at Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility.
