Robert Bjarnason

Robert Bjarnason is the president and co-founder of the Citizens Foundation of Iceland, which develops open source platforms for civic participation, winning the Pan-European e-Democracy Award during the World e-Gov Forum in 2011. Robert is an experienced entrepreneur, starting his first business, software company, at age 12. He is also the president of the first commercial internet provider in Iceland „Miðheimar ehf“ , introducing internet to the general public in Iceland and Denmark.
