Roberta Schmid is Managing Editor & Vice President of Partnerships, Germany & Austria at NewsGuard. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political and Social Sciences and a Master’s in Communication Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
Her academic focus included public trust in news media, misinformation, and journalistic ethics.
Before joining NewsGuard, Schmid interned at the German public broadcasters ZDF and Deutsche Welle News.
