Motivating stories from the Balkan – Experiences and good practices

On the 27th of May, POINT 5.0 – Day 2, a session about Motivating stories from the Balkans will take place. Representatives of various organizations fromt the region, will share their experiences and good practices. Session will start at 10:00 in Art Cinema Kriterion.

Speakers of this panel are:

Sead Halilović from C.A. Ceterum Censeo (BiH) who will present a successful story of Civil initiative for Borik (part of the City of Banja Luka).

Aleksandar Đekić from BUM Bečej (Serbia), who will share three different successful projects that he and his organization completed regarding government budget monitoring.

Predrag Blagojević from Južne vesti (Serbia) who will  share experience and know-how of  7 year-long journey that led Južne vesti to become the biggest regional web portal in Balkans and founder of first “Association of online media”.

Zlatko Sofović from karAKter (BiH), will use this opportunity to launch and to present karAKter’s new web-site.

Dea Mulloli from Peer Educator Network (Kosovo) will present a successful online platform which is called Speak in the Nest, where youth can express their views in politics, mention concrete problems and issues that they are facing due to the existing politics, and consequently, provide potential solutions towards the listed problems.

Đorđe Kolaković from Catalyst Balkans (Serbia) who will share how his organization managed to affect transparency and increase accountability of the NGO sector.
