The seventh edition of POINT Conference will be held in Sarajevo from 17th to 19th of May. This year’s conference will address the most current international and regional issues and challenges, and will also offer several interesting workshops last day of the conference.

Some of the topics that will be addressed this year, on the presentations, panel discussions and workshops will be fact checking and media literacy in the region and the world; how to use technology to counter dangerous speech; smart cities; US politics in post-truth age; openness of government and many more.

We will host experts like Aliaume Leroy, BellingCat researcher and open source investigative journalist, Jeremy Druker from Transitions Online, Miriam Lexman from IRI Beacon Project, Lucas Graves from Reuters Institute, Adam Chodikoff, Senior Producer of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and many more.

Travel and Accommodation Fellowships were open for applicants coming from SEE region (Southeast Europe) and MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) region. All places are already filled!
