POINT 7.0 Kicked off with Dance

May 17, 2018 | by: point

We danced our way into the beginning of POINT 7.0 conference. Because the POINT conference is all about us, together we welcomed three random people from the audience to do whatever they want. Naturally, they choose to dance.

After this very unusual opening Darko Brkan invited Milena Gvozdenović from Center for Democratic Transition from Montenegro and Krzysztof Izdebski from ePanstwo Poland as conference partners to share the stage.

“I hope that you will leave Sarajevo with the new knowledge and new ideas that you will hopefully share with us on next POINT,” Milena said.

Sabrina Begović, director of Kriterion which is our venue for POINT 7.0 conference, also welcomed the guests and wished us a great time during our two days event.

POINT seeks to be: a platform for civil society that encourages the use of new technologies; a tool for education about the use of new technologies and social networks; a forum for exchange of views and experiences; an incubator for the development of ideas, projects and strategies; a virtual place for networking and informing socially conscious Internet users as well as a social network for exploring and searching for partners and associates and building coalitions.

POINT 7.0 is organized by ACTION SEE network, whose members are „Zašto Ne“ from BiH, CRTA (Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability) from Serbia, Foundation Metamorphosis from Macedonia and Center for Democratic Transition from Montenegro. The network is financed by the EU.

The conference is organized in cooperation with National Endowment for Democracy, The Balkan Trust for Democracy, GONG (Co-funded by Europe for Citizens program of the European Union), Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, Friedrich Naumann Stiftung, TransparenCEE network and the US Embassy in BiH.
