How to visualize public spending will be the topic of the presentation held during POINT conference by Martin Keegan, a software engineer who is currently running the OpenSpending project of the Open Knowledge foundation.

Through the project “Where does my money go”, Open Knowledge foundation, through its website, visualizes public spending. The goal of the website is to promote transparency and civic activism through analysis and visualization of spending inGreat Britain. “Where does my money go” is a free, politically neutral tool that can in a simple way show where public money is being spent. Martin Keegan will through his presentation show some of the ways public spending inBritaincan be visualized.
