Not “Just the Facts”: How to Tackle Science Misinformation

During this session audience will have the chance to listen to Tamar Wilner from Metafact talk about the science of science misinformation.

At this session we will hear about why science misinformation is a problem; then about the principles of good science corrections and fact-checking (things like: don’t repeat the misinformation; supply people with a counter-narrative; don’t trigger political identities, etc), and then at the end we will talk about what people are doing around the world about all this and will also answer some questions from the audience.
