As activists we are expected to constantly innovate, try new things and look for new solutions. Activists are supposed to improve democracy, empower disadvantaged groups and raise awareness of the society. But doing that kind of work comes at a great cost. We are tired, overworked, feeling depressed and powerless – like whatever we do it’s never enough. It’s hard to be creative while felling overwhelmingly tired.
During the workshop we will talk about what is activist burnout, how to avoid it and what to do when it happens. Don’t worry – it will also be practical.
