SAVE THE DATE: POINT 14

February 12, 2026 Sofija

Political realities are evolving faster than ever and the space for civic action is being reshaped before our eyes. This year, as we gather for POINT 14, we do so while also marking an important milestone – 25 years since CA “Why not” was founded. So, while we search for answers on how our futures are being shaped, we will also take a look back into the past for some guidance and reflections.

Join us for POINT 14, the leading regional civil society conference where politics, technology, information space and activism intersect, where we will jointly talk about the current challenges we face in the region, but also in the whole world.

When? June 10-13, 2026
Where? Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

As every year, POINT will gather inspiring speakers from the region and across the globe – experts in transparency, accountability, media, technology and civic engagement – to exchange ideas and explore solutions for the future of democracy and open societies.

The program will feature panels, interviews, presentations and interactive sessions, bringing together perspectives from civil society, media, academia, tech and policy sectors.

Some of this year’s key themes will include: credibility and accountability of AI, impact of different stakeholders on sensitive elections, online scams and frauds, resilience to malign foreign influences, human rights and many others.

POINT 14 will bring together 100+ participants, including speakers, civil society leaders, journalists, technologists, institutional partners, representatives of funders and long-time friends of the conference.

The call for speakers will also be published soon.

Until then – save the date and join us in Sarajevo as we celebrate 25 years of impact and look ahead to what is next.
