TransparenCEE workshop at POINT conference: Data storytelling for change

June 5, 2017 | by: Dalio Sijah

This training is for civil society actors working in the field of anti-corruption in CEE* especially on topics of fact checking, public money tracking, exposing corruption, increasing civic participation and opening decision making process in public institutions more transparent.

If you work with data, no matter if they are qualitative or quantitative, about public officials, parliaments, local or national budgets, public procurements or anything that concerns making public sphere more open and hence less vulnerable to corruption, this training is for you.

During the training, we will focus on the ways to communicate findings from data analysis and making audiences engaged in order to make change possible. During 8 hours of work, participants will learn how to prepare strategies for change with usage of data they collected.

The training is a side event during POINT conference in Sarajevo (24-28 of May). It will take place on Thursday 27th of May.

We will invite 15 participants from Balkans and Central and Eastern Europe*, covering costs of stay and travels for the whole POINT conference. If you need the visa to Bosnia and Herzegovina we will help you in obtaining it.

Priority will be given to participants connected to the TransparenCEE network. We encourage organizations to delegate more than one person from the team.

Open call: please fill in the survey till 7th of May, 23:59.
