Open call: Register to Participate in the POINT 13 Conference!

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the POINT 13 Conference, which will take place from May 29 to 31, 2025, at Dom Mladih, Sarajevo – Amphitheater. Join us for another bold and inspiring gathering of civic activists, journalists, technologists and changemakers.

POINT (Political Accountability and New Technologies) is the largest event of its kind in the region, promoting political accountability and the use of new technologies to enhance transparency, combat misinformation and strengthen civic engagement.

At this year’s conference, as we are making a point, we will explore issues like the shifting global political and social landscape, the role and sustainability of civil society in times of rapid change, as well as the current perspectives in fields like information and media space, human rights, democracy and rule of law. Expect engaging discussions, in-depth analysis and a community of people ready to challenge the status quo.

The conference program will include:

• 10+ panel discussions, interviews, presentations, and interactive sessions
• Key topics include: the sustainability of civil society and fact-checking community in challenging times, the current situation and developments in the information and media sector, the current perspectives on democracy, the rule of law and human rights protection, as well as global and regional most current political developments and challenges
• Networking opportunities, workshops and informal meetups

How to Register?

To secure your spot at POINT 13, please complete the online registration form by May 15, 2025.

Important notice: We will cover participation costs at the venue (lunch, coffee and event materials), however we will not cover travel and accommodation expenses. The working language of the conference is English and interpretation will not be provided.

Notice for participants from Kosovo:

Please note that we will provide support in the visa application process for participants coming from Kosovo.
Due to additional time needed for visa procedures, the application deadline for participants from Kosovo is April 25, 2025.
