Hope Baker
Independent researcher and investigative journalist
Hope Barker holds an MSc in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics. Hope has been working in solidarity with people crossing borders for seven years, starting in Greece where she was involved in grassroots direct aid structures as well as engaging in advocacy work, and publishing analytical publications on EU migration policy.
She now pursues her own research independently, currently in the areas of deaths and disappearances along the so-called Balkan Route, and the use of new technologies to facilitate rights violations at EUropean borders.
