POINT 3.0 from 22nd do 24th May

This year’s POINT conference will have its third edition, and will take place as always in Art. Kino Kriterion from May 22 till May 24.

The program is almost ready and will be published very soon on the website, but it is still open and we invite everybody who wants to present during the conference to contact us.

In last two years we hosted a number of civic activists, civil society organization as well as new technologies innovators from the region and the World, who work in the field of advocacy. This time we will have the opportunity to hear news from the intersection of civic engagement, political accountability and the use of new technologies. The confirmed speakers so far are, among others, Michael Slaby, the CTO of Obama’s campaign in 2008 and Chief Integration and Innovation Officer in 2012; Chris Albon from Ushahidi and Sultan Al-Qassemi, commentator on Arab affairs.

In addition to lectures, open discussions, panels and film screenings, this year will also have the fun part and more information will be also available soon.
