Ecological Activist / Young European Ambassador

Edina Osmanović is a recognized next-generation leader and activist driving regional cooperation, reconciliation, and European integration across the Western Balkans. Her diverse career seamlessly bridges high-level diplomacy, international development, and fearless grassroots advocacy for human rights, anti-corruption, and environmental protection.

As a prominent Young European Ambassador (YEA) for Montenegro, Edina actively shapes regional youth policy, engaging in high-level dialogues in Brussels, Strasbourg, and Berlin to foster international relations and drive youth engagement across the Western Balkans. On the ground, she has left a lasting impact through her relentless seven-year institutional fight against quarry construction in Bar, Montenegro, cementing her reputation as a courageous environmental and civic activist.

Highly recognized for her exceptional communication skills and the fact that she speaks six languages, Edina is a frequent speaker on national television, podcasts, and international panels, alongside her role as the Host of TEDx Podgorica.

Prior to her institutional work, Edina successfully ventured into the startup ecosystem as a CEO and co-founder, alongside impactful roles within both the private and NGO sectors. She then continued her dedicated support for the community by serving as a civil servant for the United Nations International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Edina holds a Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurial Economics, specializing in Business Psychology and Management. Her global academic journey includes prestigious study abroad programs in the United States at Chatham University and in Spain at the University of Valladolid.

Edina has dedicated her career to youth empowerment, socio-economic development, climate action and justice. She remains profoundly committed to building a peaceful, sustainable, and progressive European future for the Western Balkans.
