Tijana Prodanović

Tijana is an Associate Professor at the Department of Astronomy at the University of Belgrade, and a scientist at a startup Wonder Dynamics. She got her PhD in astrophysics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2006, after which she came back to Serbia to teach at the university. 

Soon after her return she discovered a passion for science communication. She has won the national and cam 2 nd on the international FameLab competition for best science communicators. For years she has been one of the organizers of Novi Sad science festival and Researchers Night. As of recently Tijana has been successfully communicating science on TikTok and Instagram as Dr Cosmic Ray (@drcosmicray).
