Tomas Krissak

Tomáš Kriššák is a Senior Strategic Communications Consultant at Gerulata Technologies, a Slovak tech company developing AI-enabled tools and analytic solutions to help organizations see through disinformation, hostile information activities and propaganda in the digital space. In his role, Tomáš works with public- and private-sector clients to strengthen strategic communication capabilities and enhance monitoring and analysis of online information environments.

He is widely recognized as an expert on cognitive security, information integrity and the challenges posed by disinformation, hybrid threats and hostile online content — regularly featured in media interviews, podcasts and expert reports where he explains how digital platforms shape public discourse and what effective counter-strategies look like.

Tomáš has been part of a number of Slovak initiatives and projects that tackle modern phenomena of disinformation and hate speech — including the #Iamhere network, the chatbot Checkbot, Confident Slovakia (Sebavedomé Slovensko) and more — bringing a practitioner’s perspective to building resilience against manipulation and misinformation.
