Maja Ćalović is a digital media expert and trainer at Mediacentar Sarajevo, with more than a decade of experience researching, analysing, and writing about digital media trends and the impact of technology on media and society. She has developed numerous educational programmes and training materials focused on media and digital literacy.
A dedicated advocate for digital rights, she has been actively involved in internet governance initiatives across Southeast Europe. Currently, she coordinates the work of the Coalition for Freedom of Expression and Content Moderation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a civil society-led initiative that advocates for improved content moderation practices and greater accountability of online platforms in serving the needs and protecting the rights of citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
