Dr. Albana Hana is an independent Human Rights Expert and Researcher, specializing in right to privacy and data protection and the implications of neuro-technology on these rights. She holds a double degree in law and psychology from the University of Tirana, an MA in ‘Democracy and Human Rights in Southeast Europe’ from the University of Bologna and the University of Sarajevo, and the doctor juris degree from the University of Hamburg.
She has conducted research in some of the most renowned universities and institutes in Europe such as, the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, University of Graz, and Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg, and has been speaking at numerous international conferences and activities.
Dr. Hana has worked in the public administration as well as in the private sector in Albania, as an expert on EU-funded programmes and as legal adviser. Her hobbies include travel, music, languages and literature.
