Marina Sacristán Hidalgo

Marina Sacristán Hidalgo joined Fundación Maldita.es as a Public Policy Officer in 2022, bringing a background in international relations. Her work focuses on key European digital policy frameworks, including the Digital Services Act, where she conducts analytical research to support effective enforcement and implementation.

She collaborates with a broad range of stakeholders, from major technology companies and public authorities to civil society organizations, to exchange insights, share best practices, and foster coordinated approaches to tackling disinformation and strengthening the integrity of the digital information ecosystem.

Fundación Maldita.es is a non-profit foundation that builds public trust, protects information integrity, and fights disinformation through journalism, education, technology, research and policy action. Our work is underscored by specialised teams, cutting-edge technological tools, and an extensive community of citizens who collaborate with us in the battle against disinformation.
