Panel Discussion: Future of political turmoil in Macedonia

Current political situation in Macedonia is the hottest regional topic at this moment. On POINT 4.0 it will be discussed on a panel discusion titled „The Future of Political Turmoil in Macedonia – Surveilance, Protests, Government Leaks“. This panel discussion will be held on Thursday May 21st and it will feature prominent representatives of the civil sector and the media.
The panel participants will discuss the escalation of backsliding from democracy in Macedonia, the mechanisms for suffocating the freedom of expression through intimidation and imprisonment of journalists, consequences of the scandal about use of state services for illegal mass surveillance and the leaking of that info, as well as civic reactions to widespread apathy and diminishment of human rights via protesting online, on the streets and through occupation of universities.

Panel participants are:  Gjorgji Pulevski (Studentski plenum),  Biljana Ginova (AJDE!),  Suad Missini (CSRC), Tomislav Kezarovski, Zoran Bojarovski (Journalist) and the panel moderator will be Filip Stojanovski (Metamorphosis).
