Feđa Kulenović

Feđa Kulenović is an independent information expert who is among other things working on data processing and visualization with use of free and open-source software (FOSS), and applies those same principles to his work with heritage institutions (libraries, archives, museums) on projects of digitalization, collection management as well as communication and cooperation with users.
Until now he worked on several projects related to data visualization such as Women in local elections (data.zenskaposla.ba) implemented by Oneworld – platform for south east europe (owpsee) Foundation and on Bangladeshi Data Warriors as a small part of a global group that has been trying to collect, process and visualize all available data on garment factories in Bangladesh after a big factory collapse that has happened in June 2014.
Since October 2013 he is working part-time for USAID’s Strengthening Independent Media (SIM) in Bosnia and Herzegovina Project implemented by Internews as an IT expert where he is working with independent media on FOSS based solutions and use of data in journalism.
He is currently working on his PhD thesis in Information Science at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb.
