Pavle Dimitrijević is a Director for Legal Affairs at CRTA (Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability), where he also leads the election legal team. With more than twenty years of professional experience in civil society and international organizations across Serbia, Montenegro, and Kosovo, he has developed strong expertise in electoral law, democratic governance, and advocacy for free and fair elections.
In his current role at CRTA, Pavle is responsible for overseeing all legal operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with national legislation, and coordinating legal aspects of programmatic and administrative activities. He has been deeply involved in the organization and implementation of election observation missions in Serbia since 2016, including parliamentary, presidential, and local elections, where he led the legal team and contributed to monitoring election administration and drafting recommendations for improving electoral processes.
As part of CRTA’s project teams, Pavle has extensive experience in designing and delivering training programs for election observers, journalists, and civic actors. He has contributed to the development and implementation of observer trainings, with a focus on legal frameworks, election integrity, and the role of technology in elections. His work also includes engagement with local communities and stakeholders through field-based activities aimed at strengthening citizen participation and awareness in electoral processes.
Pavle has coordinated complex international projects, including EU-funded initiatives focused on electoral reform and democratic oversight. He has contributed to the development of policy proposals, legal analyses, and advocacy strategies related to electoral conditions in Serbia.
He has significant experience in organizing and participating in international events, including conferences, workshops, and online discussions, bringing together experts, practitioners, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge on democratic processes and electoral integrity. His professional profile combines legal expertise, project coordination, training delivery, and strategic advocacy, making him well-suited for contributing to projects focused on election observation.
